Heroes increased in mechanical complexity and the margin of error in a given match got smaller.

Its intense emphasis on competitive play and its esports league peeled away the parts of the game that made it approachable for a variety of players.

The content we produce is obviously not free of use should you want to upload our videos on your own website or YouTube channel. For much of 2019, the game's identity wavered and Blizzard seemed to have forgotten what made the game so exceptional when it launched in 2016. We now also produce HDR videos, which can only be enjoyed by those who own compatible televisions. At a time when Youtube's subpar video compression has become the norm for most people on the Internet, we refuse to give up quality without a fight. The HD content we provide always respects the original resolution and framerate of the games we capture, making Gamersyde the one and only place to get 1080p/4K/60fps videos with high bitrate. We are able to offer fast news delivery and HD content from the upcoming games, and one of the greatest and friendliest gaming communities in the world. We cover both handheld and video games platforms and the site has grown into one of the biggest gaming sites in the continent. Gamersyde is a commercial multiplatform web portal based in Europe, with hundreds of thousands of visitors each month from all over the world. I think basic mechanics like that can overlap. There are several hitscan guns in the game. But I think that's nitpicking, personally. There's nothing about her mechanics that are derivative of Zenyatta's. She's more involved and around combat in general In reply to They look/feel derivative is all I'm saying She no longer instantly revives (takes 1.75 seconds now) her move speed is drastically lower while reviving, and she can be stunned out of it. And her ultimate allows her to get off multiple revives and heal the whole team. A good Mercy can get dozens of revives off in a round right now. She was basically a benchwarmer last season, and you basically can't win without her now. Her new revive mechanic is much better than the team revive and she's a more crucial pick now than she's ever been. I would be happy to limit the lock-on stuff to Symmetra and Winston. I think basic mechanics like that can overlap.Īnd I'm saying that while not being a big fan of that style of weapon in the first place.

She's more involved and around combat in generalThey're not though. They look/feel derivative is all I'm sayingĪlso I didn't know there was another one in the PTR? In reply to It looks like game development. I think there should be a second revive option.Īnd we won't see another support hero for a long time now. I want a medic with hitscan and defibrillators or something. I love most of the healers already, but tbh I'm a little disappointed simply because I really want more of a combat medic. She's probably my least favorite support character but things could change.

But I play a lot of support, and she's not going to replace my Lucio or Zen (or Ana) play, and until Mercy is nerfed I don't think anyone is replacing her.

I flat out don't like playing her, but I think she's an interesting character. What else about Moira is like any other character?įWIW. How many hitscan and projectile characters are there? I hate the lock-on weapons, but it's just a tiny aspect of her kit. Her primary attack is Symmetra-like (which I hate, btw), but that's a weapon attribute and I think there's plenty of room for those to overlap. I don't think Moira is really much of a mash-up at all.
